INECO Forespro provides GWO-accredited basic safety training to staff of Latin American wind energy companies

In recent months, INERCO Forespro has strengthened its position in Latin America as an expert provider of basic safety training (BST) courses certified by the GWO, training staff from companies in the wind sector from Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Uruguay, among other countries.

Specifically, INERCO Forespro’s accredited instructors imparted specialised training on rescue and working at height to workers from companies including Energía Eólica de Honduras, Inversiones Eólicas de Orosí, CR Operaciones y Mantenimiento and Eólo Nicaragua, all of which belong to the corporation Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy.

Technicians from Frater Prevención, Vientos Volcán and Inversiones Eólicas Campos also received their GWO accredited certificates after completing INERCO Forespro’s courses on the subject, essential training for their day-to-day work.

INERCO Forespro’s training guarantees that all personnel who carry out particularly hazardous work (health, safety and environment training, HSE) or intervene in emergency situations apply the safest practices at all times.

In order to ensure this, INERCO Forespro’s instructors demonstrate the techniques, characteristics, limitations and practical use of the equipment and resources available. This training, a proprietary design homologated by GWO, is the result of INERCO Forespro’s experience in the area of rescue and emergency in the industrial sector.
