INERCO Forespro trains pilots from Shanghai police helicopter unit

INERCO Forespro was commissioned to train the helicopter unit of Shanghai Police (China) in the HESLO (external loading) speciality in emergency situations and in fire fighting in urban and industrial settings using the Bambi Bucket (a bag used to transport water).

Pilots from the unit were trained by INERCO Forespro instructors, taking homologated theoretical and practical courses designed by the company. The same training is also given to other security forces, such as Spain’s Military Emergencies Unit (UME).

The training given to the members of the Shanghai Police helicopter unit was complemented by aircraft emergency courses (HUET) at INERCO Forespro’s facility in Seville, where they had the opportunity to practice exercises in salvage and evacuation in water following a theoretical water landing.

This was INERCO’s second course for the Chinese special forces: last year, the Shanghai police took aircraft emergency and safety training at the company’s centre in Seville.

According to INERCO Forespro managing director Antonio Lobera: “This new experience with the Shanghai security forces positions us as experts on the international market in training and preparing pilots in emergency rescues. Our intention is to continue to grow in this sector, both in China and in other countries, with the objective of expanding our expertise and knowledge in training elite forces.
