Part of The INERCO Group<\/strong> is involved in a new project offering strategic advice about energy to large electricity companies. It is currently carrying out the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)<\/strong> for the installation of a power transmission line in the Friaspata<\/strong> area, a section of some 100 kilometres that is being undertaken by \u201cPDI\u201d a Peruvian company in the south of the country.<\/p>\n

This venture is part of a major project to link the electricity network of Ayacucho to the National Network (SEIN)<\/strong>, and has been included in the 2013 – 2017 investment plan approved by \u201cOsingermin\u201d the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"inerco<\/a><\/p>\n

This important infrastructure will vastly improve the existing energy supply situation that has been limited by the age of the previous system. The length and voltage of the new system will bring about important service changes to the area.<\/p>\n

The Work performed by ACON Peru<\/strong><\/a> (INERCO Group<\/strong>) in this project includes both the environmental assessment<\/strong> of the new power line installation along with social support, with the drafting of a Citizen Participation Plan<\/strong> in which the actions to be carried out in the environment will include making sure the benefits of the new energy network also benefit the communities living there.<\/p>\n

This new project makes INERCO<\/strong> a point of reference in Latin America<\/strong> in terms of offering advice to energy companies, as can be seen in the projects for COBRA<\/strong> in Moyobamba or the aforementioned PDI<\/strong> Group in Mantaro. INERCO<\/strong>\u00b4s experience and knowledge of the area go hand in hand when offering environmental assessment services along with the development of social plans that are included in these projects.
