{"id":2872,"date":"2016-03-07T14:19:02","date_gmt":"2016-03-07T13:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inercomunicacion.com\/?p=2872\/"},"modified":"2017-05-24T13:24:31","modified_gmt":"2017-05-24T11:24:31","slug":"inerco-consultoria-mexico-masters-in-health-and-safety-administration-occupational-health-and-ecology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inercomunicacion.com\/en\/inerco-consultoria-mexico-masters-in-health-and-safety-administration-occupational-health-and-ecology\/","title":{"rendered":"INERCO Consultor\u00eda M\u00e9xico masters in health and safety administration, occupational health and ecology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/inerco.com.mx\/es\/inerco-corporacion\/maestria\/antecedentes-de-la-maestria.php\"><strong>INERCO Consultor\u00eda M\u00e9xico<\/strong>\u2019s Masters in Health and Safety Administration, Occupational Health and Ecology<\/a>, organised in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uadec.mx\/\">Autonomous University of Coahuila<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coniqq.org.mx\/\">Mexican National Association of Chemical Engineers and Chemists<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acciona-mx.com\/\">Acciona Infraestructuras M\u00e9xico<\/a>, began on Friday, 26 February with an inauguration ceremony presided over by Dr Rogelio Miguel Figueroa Vel\u00e1zquez, director general of the Mexican Federal Labour Inspectorate.<\/p>\n<p>The educational initiative features the participation of more than 50 professionals from the main companies and managers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gob.mx\/stps\">Mexican Secretariat of Labour<\/a> and is supported academically by the Autonomous University of Coahuila. The course will train specialised professionals with knowledge in <strong>health and safety, occupational health and environmental protection<\/strong>, enabling them to perform their roles as effectively as possible to carry out investigations related to their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>During the inauguration, Rogelio Miguel Figueroa highlighted the importance of training specialists in safety: \u201cthese aspects contribute to the promotion and reinforcement of a culture of prevention, with mechanisms to support compliance with labour regulations.\u201d Similarly, the director general of the Federal Labour Inspectorate announced the upcoming entry into operations of the first School of Labour Inspection, a project promoted by his organisation and based on one already existing in Spain.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='vw-custom-tiled-gallery galleryid-2872 clearfix' data-gallery-layout='213'><figure class='gallery-item'><a title=\"\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>He also expressed his satisfaction with an event like the Masters in Health and Safety Administration, Occupational Health and Ecology, \u201cwith educational institutions, the competent administration, the private sector and professional groups coming together to contribute towards achieving the Mexico we all want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Acciona Infaestructuras\u2019 director in Mexico, Guillermo Jim\u00e9nez Michavila, demonstrated his company\u2019s commitment to workplace protection, which is of utmost importance to the company\u2019s daily activities and as regards this Masters, a help in sharing its experience and management systems.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>INERCO<\/strong> <strong>group\u2019s<\/strong> corporate director of business development, Patricio Navarro Bl\u00e1zquez, gave an overview of the group\u2019s history in the field of health and safety: \u201cover thirty years\u2019 experience have allowed us to develop and implement the most advanced tool in the field and given <strong>INERCO<\/strong> the capacity to adapt to the reality of business in Mexico, where it has been present for over 25 years.\u201d In this context, Navarro mentioned the importance for <strong>INERCO <\/strong>of prevention, innovation and training, \u201ccornerstones of our activities, which we bring with us to this master along with our commitment to rigour, our knowledge and our advanced experience in this field.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The training of experts to assess workplace hazards, analysis and the development of prevention actions are determining factors for companies in the areas of prevention, environmental protection, liability and costs, objectives which the masters aims to meet with modules including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Legal aspects of health and safety, occupational health, social security, ecology and the environment<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Recognition, assessment and control of diseases and health impacts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupational disease and accident control systems in the organisation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Environmental emergencies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupational health and safety administration systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation of Standard ISO 14000<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Environmental project planning and development<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Quantitative and qualitative hazard analysis methods<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Internal civil protection programmes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The team of academics is made up of high-level specialists in these disciplines, including Santiago Argelio Cisneros Alonso, industrial chemical engineer and science lecturer (IPN) and current president of the Mexican National College of Chemical Engineers and Chemists A.C.; Iris Yamilet Hidalgo Gonz\u00e1lez, workplace risk prevention manager for Latin America at Acciona Infraestructuras; Esther Valdivia Loizaga, director of INERCO\u2019s Environment division; Carlos Manuel Morales
