370 firefighters from the Consortiums of Huelva, Malaga and Cadiz participate in an pioneering integral training experience led by INERCO Forespro
A total of 370 firefighters belonging to the Provincial Consortiums of Huelva, Malaga and Cadiz have participated over the last three months in a Training Plan led by the team of instructors from INERCO Forespro in eight different disciplines. Specifically, the professionals from these fire brigades have received qualified training in how to act in situations of dangerous merchandise, traffic accidents, indoor industrial fire, outdoor fire in industrial buildings, dismantling of buildings, collapse of buildings and vertical rescue.
The managers of these three Consortiums have received specific training for their roles, so that INERCO Forespro has put together in this first edition a pioneering integral course for firefighters in Spain when it comes to integral vision and training material.
In fact, all the training given is a result of the methodology of INERCO Forespro, a result of the experience of over 10 years in this field with examples in countries in Europe and Latin America.
Three training centres managed by INERCO Forespro —in San José de la Rinconada, the Training Park of the Firefighters Consortium of Huelva, in Valverde del Camino and the Naval Survival Centre – Aeronaval Survival & Safety Training (Cesupar), at the Military Base in Rota— have been the headquarters of these standardised courses, with a total of 460 class hours, after which the students received their corresponding accreditation certificate.
For David Verdugo, manager of INERCO Forespro, this first edition of the Training Plan for firefighters opens up new possibilities in terms of training for these safety professionals, “with a full proposal, designed for their day-to-day work and with field exercises in which the problems can be checked in first person.”
