INERCO’s experience as an advisor on Industrial Safety and Risk Prevention, at the service of the industry in Portugal. The new documentation requirements published in 2020 by the Portuguese Environmental Agency (APA) regarding the regulations on serious accidents (SEVESO Regulations) are bringing with them an important adaptation by the country’s industry.

For Alfredo Ramos, Executive Director of INERCO Portugal, these new criteria by APA bring with them a series of obligations “for which it is important to have allied experts in this matter, as is the case of INERCO, a leading reference in the field of Safety and Prevention of Occupational Risks both in Europe and in Latin America”.

In this sense, Alfredo Ramos highlights the great experience of INERCO’s team of experts in the field of SEVESO regulations, “with consulting and adaptation projects for the main multinationals in sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas or paper, in which INERCO has been a proactive ally of great help to facilitate the adaptation of companies to these regulations”.
