INERCO carries out engineering work on the ‘Casablanca’ oil rig for REPSOL

INERCO strengthened its position in the field of engineering and HSE consultancy services on oil rigs, with the work carried out on the ‘Casablanca’ oil rig for RIPSA (REPSOL Investigaciones Petrolíferas SA). INERCO’s experience and ability in the petrochemical sector over the last few decades is being strengthened with this new project in the world of offshore oil and gas for one of the largest firms in the industry at an international level.

Technicians from INERCO’s Engineering Division have executed several projects for RIPSA in Tarragona on the Casablanca Oil Rig. Specifically, they have carried out engineering work and supervised the construction of different operational improvements planned by Repsol on these offshore installations.

For the execution of this work, carried out in SP3D, INERCO successfully used 3D scanning technology, which has represented an important advancement in the quality of the engineering documentation and the resulting improvement in the construction process, which is so important in this type of installation.
