INERCO successfully concludes the implementation of its ABACO technology at the Landulpho Alves refinery (Petrobras)

INERCO successfully concluded the works to optimize the combustion in a process heater at Petrobras’s Landulpho Alves refinery, in Salvador (Brazil).

The work performed by INERCO was focused on the installation of the proprietary technology, ABACO, which is already implemented and fully operational in several facilities in Europe, Asia and America. ABACO allowed the improvement of the unit efficiency and the reduction of environmental emissions. Moreover, INERCO is currently performing remote monitoring of the system 24/7.

As mentioned by  Enrique Bosch, managing director of INERCO Etech USA, “the installation of ABACO technology in this refinery has resulted in excellent results with significant improvement of the unit efficiency and therefore, important savings for the client”.

Hence, Bosch highlighted the value of the ABACO technology, developed by INERCO, as a critical tool to optimize the operation of the plants: “our technology and deep knowledge of the industrial plants in different sectors and territories, results in a vital factor to improve the performance of the industrial processes”.
