CESUPAR—ASET, OPERATED BY INERCO FORESPRO, CLASSIFIED AS A CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE BY THE US NAVY NSTI

The Aeronaval Survival & Emergency Training (CESUPAR—ASET) of the Navy at Naval Station Rota, operated by INERCO Forespro, has been qualified as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ by the Naval Survival Training Institute (NSTI), subsidiary of the US Navy’s Navy Medicine Operational Training Center (NMOTC).

Staff from this federal agency carried out an exhaustive audit at the beginning of this year of the procedures, installations and staff at INERCO Forespro, in charge of the courses at CESUPAR – ASET at Station Rota, converting it into a training centre authorised by the Department of Defense (DoD) outside of its country’s borders.

The audit involved several tests and courses with which the technicians displaced from Pensacola (United States) evaluated the centre and its management on programmes destined specifically for the staff of the US Armed Forces.

After its assessment, the Navy installations as well as the INERCO Forespro staff have obtained the maximum qualification that can be awarded: ‘Exceptional’, an assessment in which the achievement of the strict quality and safety standards established by the US Army for the training of their flight staff and special operations teams has been evident.

INERCO Forespro thus reinforces close professional collaboration with the US Department of Defence in the training of its staff belonging to the four armies present in Europe and Africa (US Navy, US Marines, US Air Force and US Army), as well as the staff in transit for foreign deployment.
