INERCO Chile, expert consultant for industrial safety in Chile

INERCO SELECTED TO SIT ON THE COMMITTEE DRAFTING THE NEW SAFETY DATASHEET REGULATIONS IN CHILE

The National Standardisation Institute, the body updating standard Nch2215 Chemical substances – Safety data sheets – Requirements, has selected INERCO Consultoría Chile as an expert advisor on industrial safety.

The CL012 Technical Committee on the chemicals industry, which is made up of representatives of industry, public authorities and consultancies, is deciding on the content of this important safety standard, which aims to establish the requirements of information regarding chemical substances’ essential characteristics and levels of risk for people, facilities, materials, transport and the environment.

The Technical Committee includes, among others, Merck, from the pharmaceuticals sector, SQM, from the mining sector, Copec, from the hydrocarbon transport and distribution sector, Molymet, which deals in concentrates from mining, and INERCO Consultoría Chile, the national and international expert in HSE consulting and a European leader in the REACH regulation.
