The industrial safety spanish technology platform (PESI) honours INERCO with the 2018 award for innovative company in safety

The Industrial Safety Spanish Technological Platform (PESI) has honoured INERCO with the 2018 award for Innovative Company in Safety, awarded last Thursday during the celebration of PESI’s 10th Anniversary and the 2018 S2R Latam Forum Congress.

Specifically, this recognition from PESI highlights INERCO’s work in operational reliability and safety, an activity in which INERCO possesses over three decades of experience serving the industry, with projects in over 70 countries on four different continents and over 100,000 references in the oil&gas, mining, chemical, electricity, energy, cement and agri-food sectors and in infrastructure, among other things.

INERCO is an active agent with respect to R&D&I, with a strong commitment to offering integral adapted and efficient solutions in the sectors in which it operates. As Luis Cañadas, Director of Innovation at INERCO recognises, “awards such as this one strengthen our innovative commitment to contribute to sustainable industrial development through advanced technology and methodology that facilitates the activity of the industry in a safer, more environmentally-friendly way.”

Juan Santos, the director of INERCO’s Industrial Safety Division, demonstrated his gratitude to PESI for this distinction, “a reinforcement to our daily work in an area as essential to the industry as safety, that is vital for the people that form part of its day-to-day.” In this respect, Santos highlighted INERCO’s solutions in the field of operational safety and reliability in the process industry, “that benefits from our strong, firm commitment to innovation.”

The award ceremony was attended by Luis Cañadas and Juan Santos, who was also a speaker at the Congress where he presented INERCO’s vision and lines of work in Safety and Reliability in the framework of Industry 4.0. Additionally, the Director of INERCO’s Safety Division was elected as a member of the Board of Directors and coordinator of several PESI Safety and Security Working Groups at the General Assembly held on the 29th.
