INERCO launches INERCO PaaS, a technology for the centralized management of all the monitoring data of an industrial installation

INERCO has developed the INERCO PaaS service, a new technology for the analysis and management of data received from the various monitoring systems installed in an industrial plant.

This innovative service and its different applications, which are perfectly integrated in the plant’s control panel,  unifies the reception of data from the different sources necessary in the day-to-day running of a plant, available for online consultation at the moment.

This aid is key both for the management of an industrial plant and for the reporting of these indicators to the competent authority, in order to comply with the current regulations applied in each territory. Along these lines, INERCO has developed specific Apps for the collection of key data in the following areas: control and monitoring of emissions (CEMS), energy efficiency, predictive maintenance and document management for safety and prevention.

INERCO PaaS receives the data from these Apps developed through its own software (DAHS) which gathers all the key information for the industry and uploads it to the cloud for management and consultation from any computer device with Internet access and with instantly updated data.

As Sixto López, Head of the Monitoring and Control Area of INERCO’s Energy Technologies and Services Division, comments, “until now, this data was reported independently to different destinations, which meant an extra  organizational effort that is simplified by INERCO PaaS, with a single space where all the data is recorded and can be consulted”.

INERCO has successfully installed this service with the specific CEMS App in industrial plants in the energy sector in Chile, a country whose regulations stipulate that the local reports of each CEMS (via Dash) be launched online. “With INERCO PaaS, this information is  centralized, which means that the competent administration has a single access point for all the data to be consulted”, points out Sixto López, who also highlights the benefit for the industry, “because it can see all the data on its CEMS distributed throughout the country in a single site (secure environment website), without the need to access different devices, as well as operate them remotely”.
