INERCO Peru quality systems certified by Senace

The National Sustainable Investments Environmental Certification Services (Senace) of Peru’s Ministry of the Environment published the list of environmental consultancies whose quality management systems have been certified with relation to the process of preparing environmental studies. INERCO Consultoría Perú is the second company in the country to report on the implementation and maintenance of its ISO 9001 certificate from the Société Générale de Surveillance.

INERCO Consultoría Perú is in this way supporting SENACE in its efforts to standardise the activities and procedures of environmental consultancies and to measure and monitor the performance of their processes. This contributes to guaranteeing the suitability and quality of environmental studies.

Senace was created in December 2012 as a technical specialised public body, working under the Ministry of the Environment; its primary duty is to review and approve detailed Environmental Impact Studies (EIA-d) for major investment projects in Peru.

Its other duties are to administrate the register of environmental consultancies and to implement the Environmental Certification one-stop service.
